Was there. Drab affair and a poor occasion on which to try to explain cricket to a first timer. The highlight of it all was de fella in a Donald Trump get-up masquerading as the 45th US president and paradoxically seated a few rows away from several touring visitors wearing salwar kameez. Quite the sight.
The fans in the Greenidge and Haynes made an amusing attempt to get a wave going, but this effort matched the quality of the Windies on the field. I ended up having to make amends for not having used the time to hit the beach. Ah well.
Also lots more empty seats than expected. Dead vibes.
