Jarrin Solomon should be permanently banned from competing for T&T. Quarrel to be in the final. Make all that noise and then ran all that crap. I don't understand why the slowest of our quarter milers was allowed to run. Waste of time. We give up our only medal cause jarrin Solomon does not realise he can't cut it

Who else would you have gone with? We have mixed relays coming up. So Cedenio and Lendore will be there.

Solomon is not a team player and worst does not realise his limitations

So then the 4x400 relay coach has to shoulder some blame. He makes the final selection choice

The man posted on Twitter the disrepect and favoritism after he was left out the first round. Whatever he smoking he needs to stop. The man open up in the Grenada invitational running high 47 and thinks that merit him a spot

Sigh! lol here we go again. Two of our best chances at medals down the drain. Kelly ran such a strong first leg too...  :banginghead: :banginghead: :banginghead:

I really don't know what goes on behind the scenes BUT you have to put your country first. IF you are not running as fast as your fellow countrymen then you have no right to complain, whoever is running better than you should go first. It should be motivation to train harder to at least get into 45 shape. Don't play the victim role... Then again I don't know the whole story but if the scenario is similar to what we perceive it to be then that's my 2 cents.

Well done  Solomon. That 47.1first leg was simply amazing. Seriously world class. Who needs to run 44 when you can run 47 and command your place on the squad

Well 5th place on the table. The only team to come in top 5 on points who did not win a medal. Don't know if this is considered an improvement..

I wonder what's up with Cedenio and why he did not run in either the Men's 4x4 Final or the Mixed 4x4 Final?

Maybe he caught the cold but hopefully he is not injured!

If Machel and Lendore were fit then these are the TTO teams I would have ran in the Men's & Mixed Finals:-

For Men's 4x4 Final I would have ran:-
Quow to Richards to Gordon to Cedenio;

For Mixed 4x4 Final I would have ran:-

Lendore to Selvon  to Williams to Solomon;

Decent finish overall considering we have a lot a room for improvement.

Mvp's were Callender and Richards on the men's side for sure.

I guess that is what zero relay practice and zero relay races before World Relays can lead to.
These things do happen thou, just look at what happened to the JA 4x100 Men's rekay team for example.

I am guessing that for our 4x100m Women to now qualify for London they need to run one of the top 8 fastest times in the world this year to join the other 8 teams that made it into the World Relays 4x100m Final this weekend and so guaranteed their relay spots in London.

This competition is being held earlier and earlier each year which is not good for TT most of our elite athletes do not make their debut until after the Penn relays these guys are just not in shape if the IAAF does not move this competition to a later date it will become irrelevant.
