Yorke’s transfer fee was actually £12.6m (The Euro didn't exist then). The most expensive CONCACAF players that I know of are John Brooks (USA) from Hertha Berlin to Wolfsburg and Nery Castillo (Mexico) from Olympiakos to Shakhtar Donetsk. Both of their transfers were reported to be €20m.

But that is just in pure numbers only. To properly compare the transfer fees in terms of which is more expensive, you would have to adjust for inflation.
