I stopped listening at the mention of what was paid to Russell Latapy and Anton Corneal and the ignorance of if that $ had been put in to youth development ... this joker is unfit for this office. I say that without apology. Brazen arrogance ...and disrespectful to the people who are/were owed for services rendered. And intentionally misleading and disingenuous.

Instead of an interview with Fazeer, let's have a public debate. The ignorant fans versus you, Mr. TTFA President. The fans will send one person to debate you under rules to be agreed.

In the past four months, Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh, Justice Margaret Y Mohammed and Master of the Court Sherlanne Pierre all ruled against the football body, which continues to rack up legal defeats despite spending more on legal fees than in any other period in its 111 year history.

Justice Boodoosingh described John-Williams’ behaviour as ‘unreasonable and/or unlawful’ while Justice Mohammed said the TTFA President’s testimony was ‘entirely discredited’ and summarised the conduct of his administration as ‘disingenuous’.

US Embassy slams TTFA boss over visa fiasco

THE United States Embassy in Port of Spain has slammed presi­dent of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) David John-Williams because he “dropped the ball” in the US visa application process to enable the national Under-15 girls football team to travel to the United States to compete in a major CONCACAF tournament.

As a result of what the embassy explained were late and incomplete visa applications, the T&T girls failed to get their US visas to compete in the 2018 CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central Ameri­can and Caribbean Associa­tion Football) Girls’ Under-15 Championships, which started on August 7 in Florida, USA.

However, Chargé d'Affaires John McIntyre in an unprecedented statement on Friday contradicted the TTFA President’s story.

McIntyre, in responding to John-Williams’ “Red Card Commentary” said it was the TTFA President’s failure to plan that has prevented the promising footballers from playing in the USA.

He said John-Williams’ comments can adversely affect the US Embassy’s ongoing efforts to grow its sports diplomacy programmes locally.

McIntyre stated plainly that the Embassy was not to blame in any way for the TTFA’s inability to sure visas for the team.

“I will be blunt. Mr. Williams and the TTFA just flat out dropped the ball on the visa process.
