Turkisk team Fernerbache signs Johhny Hamilton


Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul (BSL) signed 26-year old Trinidad and Tobago center Johnny Hamilton (213-104kg-94, college: UT Arlington). He played last season at Darussafaka in the BSL. In 22 games he had 8.2ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.5bpg. Hamilton helped them to make it to the cup final. He also played 15 games in Eurocup where he recorded 11.3ppg, 8.1rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.4bpg.
Hamilton has played previously professionally in NBA G League (Grand Rapids Drive) and NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks). He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention in 2020.
Hamilton won NBA G League Central Division championship title in 2019.
He attended University of Texas at Arlington until 2018 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

TRINIDAD and Tobago basketballer Johnny Hamilton has been signed by NBA team Atlanta Hawks.

Reports said that Hamilton, 27, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Hawks.

Hamilton, who is seven feet tall, last played for EuroLeague club Fenerbahce and Adriatic Basketball Association club KK Mornar Bar during the 2020-2021 season.

Hamilton played for the Detroit Pistons G League team, Grand Rapids Drive, in the 2018-2019 season.

He has been signed to an Exhibit 10 contract which is a one-year, minimum salary deal that does not include the possibility of bonuses.
