forgot who I heard recently describe ours as sibling rivalry w/ Jam Down, but i'm glad they made it. I'm watching the tournament in spanish, and they fear them. Will be glad for them if they make it to the final and especially if they lift the cup. That will only open up respect for our players across the caribbean.

Did Canada's goalkeeper represent us at the youth level?

This Panama brand is high risk and entertaining.
I've enjoyed watching them play whole tournament

Definitely produced a better outcome than supposedly low risk, a lack of enterprise and painful viewing. Anyhow, enough about pragmatism.

Was less fond of the PAN product during the group stage, but I've appreciated what they blossomed into during the "win or go home" phase. Better yet, players got to express their strengths and I would expect 2 to 3 of them to attract moves informed by that.

Christiansen is a good coach, but I still feel he committed malpractice last night. I am struggling with coaches whose attacking areas pedigree, as players, defy their choices in approach when on the touchline.

Actually think the risk-taking was modulated in the 2H but the match-up upon Gimenez's introduction was like not reading the headline of a newspaper.

Ah doh see Luis Fernando Suárez keeping this gig.

And so it came to pass: The NT coach of Costa Rica was dismissed yesterday following his presentation of a post-tournament report at a meeting and a subsequent 6-5 vote of the body with authority of decision. Notably, transparency was a feature of the day as the manner in which each decision-maker voted was made public.

The sole person retained from the coaching staff is former Costa Rica international, Douglas Sequeira --- who has seemingly been on a decade-long apprenticeship as an eventual NT coach.

If TT was serious they would try to hire him as there next coach.

Spent force. LFS should recharge his batteries and ideas elsewhere, perhaps in club football.

LFS is a much better coach than S Heart or R Latapy ever would be.
