Ma Pau books FA quarters spot.

Ma Pau continued its impressive season with a 3-1 win over National Super League winners, bmobile Joe Public in their round-of-16 T&T Football Federation FA Trophy clash yesterday to secure a quarterfinal spot. This was in the first match of a double-header at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar.
The Woodbrook-based Ma Pau opened the scoring as early as the 13th minute while Rennie Britto made it 2-0 in the 26th minute which it took into the break.
One minute into the second-half, Dorian Robinson reduced the deficit for Joe Public, but Anthony Wolfe slammed home a penalty in the 53rd minute to restore Ma Pau’s two-goal cushion before St Vincent and The Grenadines Shandel Samuel added another eight minutes from full-time for the Pro League club.
Eastern Football Association clubs, Valtrin United and Joe Public also secured placed in the last eight along with Siparia Spurs yesterday.
