Ma Pau books FA quarters spot.
By: Nigel Simon (T&T Guardian).

Ma Pau continued its impressive season with a 3-1 win over National Super League winners, bmobile Joe Public in their round-of-16 T&T Football Federation FA Trophy clash yesterday to secure a quarterfinal spot. This was in the first match of a double-header at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar.

The Woodbrook-based Ma Pau opened the scoring as early as the 13th minute while Rennie Britto made it 2-0 in the 26th minute which it took into the break.

One minute into the second-half, Dorian Robinson reduced the deficit for Joe Public, but Anthony Wolfe slammed home a penalty in the 53rd minute to restore Ma Pau’s two-goal cushion before St Vincent and The Grenadines Shandel Samuel added another eight minutes from full-time for the Pro League club.

Eastern Football Association clubs, Valtrin United and Joe Public also secured placed in the last eight along with Siparia Spurs yesterday.
The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.
