Misread is an understatement and maybe i should have worded the subject different but all what is needed can't fit in the field so i had to improvise. You believe i'm Noah but there was only one Noah in this world. Simple understanding of football can't enable you to come on this forum and fight down people because my nephew has asimple understanding of football and he can't come here and post anything. I watching baseball and the NFL a lot and i still can't go in any forum where they discuss the sports and post any fight talk because that's not my place, i have watched and played football all my life so i can put up a good fight when it comes to talking football.

Man I disagree with that wholeheartedly... de same way you watching your nephew and saying he eh know enough to talk bout football... it have other men watchin you and thinking look at dis shitsnake.... he eh know what he talking bout!

If yuh had to take ah elite football knowledge test to post here.... this forum might be very sparse indeed.....

we here to share ideas and learn

My nephew is 3 years old by the way and an elite knowledge of football is not needed but you must show more than simple knowledge to be able to hold a proper conversation and i think i have shown more than simple knowledge so no one here can call me a shitsnake on or off the field. I have shocked many a person in my life.

I can't even raise 5. I'm 21 and having been trying football since 14. I went QRC so P.E. meant football. It was there I started loving the game. Lil caps, spanners, belts, breeds, skate tackle and screening was the real scene.

I can't play at all. I like to take a lil small goal. I not too bad at that. I been watching football serious since 1997/8. Over that short time I learnt the intricacies of the game, tactics , strategies ,formations etc. I'm by no means a veteran in this but when I spot a player , by hook or by crook that man is a player and record usually shows that.  Individually my technique has nothing to do with my understanding of the game and justification to engage in football debates with men who play the game seriously. I have a lot of friends who playing in the pro-league or in NCAA and they would be surprised as to how much I know about football. I ain't trying to boast I just trying to show you that once you love the beautiful and you commited to it you could argue with the some of the best out there.

Hakeem Olajuwon was a goal keeper in his native land and only started playing basketball when he went to America to college. Up to this day, there is no centre who can match Hakeem's moves so even though you started at 14, you just need to show more committment to succeed. If not, there's always Fifa 2k6 on PS2... :rotfl: yuh could beat nuff people on that shit and feel like you better than Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Latapy, whoever yuh like.

I Love Football.  Sadly, Football doh love me.. :'(

Ah play it plenty but was never able to get past de water cooler in a real match.  After a while ah finally figure out it wasn't because all dem different coaches didn't like meh...it was because ah was a blasted SHITHONG!!  ;D

Dat doh stop meh from supportin meh teams 1000% and talkin bout de game doh.  In oddah words..all de SHITHONG I is...ah still love de game.

Palos ah have to disagree...

Consider if Ronaldinho lose ah ACL...(knock on wood)... he cyah make dem nice spanner etc... he aye no sh*thound... he jus cyah do what he want to do on de field... he would have reached a high level of skill buh cyah perform... no less a footballer is de one who for some other reason could not reach the level of skill but who love de game in his heart.... de man who fight the soccer fight sometimes understands and sees so much more than the man who had a lil' skill an never develop his talent to the fullest.... Football need skilled players, fans to support, waggonists to jump on an off, and young kids to dream. Play on the field does not the footballer make....... that just makes for good entertainment...  :chilling:

I love football, have always had an interest in the local Pro leauge and National Team only recently started to look at premiership, nevertheless if I go to try to kick some ball with the boys, I always getting blank. Not my fault... they probably feel I fragile and can't take roughing up. Arggghh! When I was growing up, I used to go down to Skinner Park & Mon Repos and see Leonson Lewis kick ball with he partners and them, I watching this game since I was about 8 and still loving it in my mid 20's.

I don't feel you have to play football, but at the very least understand the rules of the game and knowing a few players teams or stats will be helpful

Playing Football may help someone understand the game..But then there are those who are very narrow minded and figure becuz they have played the game that they know everything. Those pple are the worst! Have an opinion and closed to all others. To truly love and understand football u have to love and follow the game and most importantly be open to other ideas about it.

playing de game of football puts all of de theoretical tings people be talkin about into sometin real.  by playin de game and den studyin it only increases your wealth of knowledge.  however, dat doesnt mean people who avent played are neccissarily less knolwedgeable or supportive of de game.  playin just gives you dat first hand experience which can be helpful, but shouldnt change de support you ave for football.

Wagonism is required for sport.

I think so......But I still don't see the purpose in labelling other people so that we could stroke our egos.
