Pat Jennings also played in World Cup 1982 at age 37.

Ah think David Seaman (England goalie) was 40 in de 2002 tournament....is a pity he will be remembered for letting Ronaldinho's super-lob go over he head.

Seaman was 38 at WC 1998
Milla was 42 at WC 1994(I think he is the scorer and oldest to play in the world cup finals not sure about WC quals though)
and shilton was 40 at Italia 1990 ;)

Dino Zoff was the oldest to win a world cup at 40
Milla was 42yrs 39 days. But dat is in African currency, so yuh know he was really 50  ;D

The youngest player to win the World Cup championship was Pelé (Brasil). He won the title in 1958, when he was 17.

The oldest player to win the World Cup championship was Dino Zoff (Italy). He did it in 1982 at the age of 40.

The youngest player to play in the World Cup was Norman Whiteside (Northern Ireland). During the match against Yugoslavia in 1982 he was 17 years and 42 days old.

The oldest player to play in the World Cup was Roger Milla of Cameroon. During the game against Russia in 1994 he was 42 years and 39 days old. He hit a goal in that match too.

The youngest player to score in the World Cup was Pelé (Brasil). He did it during a meet with Wales in 1958. He was 17 years and 239 days old.

My mistake he Milla was 42 he was also the oldest scorer in the history of the world cup.

Ok

He is not starting in Germany but  Kalusha Bwalya is still a legend.

Being the only player that wasn't in the plane crash that killed all his friends and players from Zambia. (1993)
As national trainer
At 41 he took off his trainer outfit and came in the game against Liberia and made one hell of a goal.
I think in the last 10 minutes.
( freekick)

pity Zambia didnt make it to Germany I hope he can be there in Z-Africa he deserves it
