Sando P.. can you confirm or break dong what exactly is parang? The reason I asking is because when man say parang I does tend to see ah lot ah soca-kinda-parang being listed. Mih great gran does roll in he grave when people speak about parang and name like scrunter, machel, crazy etc get mentioned. ah sure!

well jumbie, it have soca parang an den it have d authentic parang. but yuh know we trinis does call any christmas music parang. some trinis obviously doh kno d difference.

any parang from La Familia de Rio Claro is my favorite. RIP Mr Granger.

I used to live St. Joseph when ah was small, attended the RC school. I am very fimaliar with San Jose Serenders and some of the Flores people. I did not know them personally but remembered some of them. I also remembered 6:10 radio setting up in the RC school to broadcast live parang. That was great times.
