TIJUANA, Mexico –Costa Rica moved closer to a berth in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship with a 3-0 win Friday against Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 17 footballers will begin their quest for a place at the next FIFA Under 17 World Championship with a first match clash with hosts Mexico at the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana on Wednesday from 4pm (7pm TT Time).
T&T Under–17’s tackle Ma Pau
T&T Under-17 footballers will have one more chance to impress coach Anton Corneal when they tackle T&T Pro League outfit Ma Pau at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya from 3 pm today. Corneal is using the match as part of his preparations for the Concacaf Under–17 Championship in Mexico later this month and is expected to name his final squad tomorrow, prior to ending the four-day live-in camp which began on Thursday at the Dr Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya.
