Soon many of the nation’s top under 19 football teams will be able to get back on the football field to compete for the Next Level Consulting, Limited U19 Community Invitational Tournament 2021_22 Championship title. The tournament expects to kickoff on December 18th of this year, once the organizing committee receives requisite approvals from the Ministry of Health, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Ministry of Sport and the Normalization Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA).

Tournament Chairman, Mr. Jordan stated, “We had a very cordial meeting with Mr. Hadad of the TTFA Normalization Committee, as well as, the TTFA General Secretary, Mr. Mohammed, and the Technical Director, Mr. LaFoucade recently. We appreciated them taking the time to meet as part of their due diligence. Like their predecessors, they now have a better idea as to our organization and how advanced and detailed our planning is. They were made aware we have also sent to the CMO, and Minister of Health, a very stringent set of Covid-19 protocols for review, input, and potential approval ahead of kickoff. In accordance, with our safety first and foremost approach, our committee would have developed those protocols with the assistance of experienced local based medical professionals.”

He added, “We now officially have the best Tobago youth teams and talent registered. Also, quite a few teams, including a few from the Secondary School Football League, have reached out to us inquiring about participating this season. With only a few remaining slots, we expect to be closing out registrations soon in both islands.”

Co-owner of Next Level Consulting, Limited, and Tournament Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mrs. Germaine Jordan announced, “We are incredibly happy that so many stakeholders continue to see the value in this tournament, including our fantastic teams, match officials, supporters, communities and last but not least, our valued sponsors. Everyone can again expect a professionally run tournament showcasing many of our young talent vying for national selection, scholarships, and furthering their careers in a sport we all love.”

The NLCL tournament committee, which includes Ms. Sandra Pompey, Mr. Don Griffith, as well as, Mr and Mrs Jordan, would like to thank the National Lotteries Control Board, National Energy Corporation, Comfort Keepers Assisted Living Facility, and all other supporters for their generous and kind sponsorship and partial underwriting of tournament costs.
