Last season’s knockout winners, M&M Harvard captured the first title at stake in this year’s UWI Employees Super League Football, the $1,000 Richard “Dougee” Lee Memorial crown with a 4-3 penalty-kicks wins over K-Brands. This was after both clubs battled to a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time under lights at UWI Ground, St Augustine on Sunday.

In the penalty kicks shoot-out, Harvard’s Saleem Rahaman, Seon Jack, Duran Felicien and Mervyn Moore all scored from the spot while team-mate, 17-year-old Eric Charles muffed his effort. However, K-Brands, the defending league champions, only scored on three of its attempts through Jason James, Damien La Pix and Kwasi Largen while Ronnie Forbes and Andy Lyndon, both missed.
