JOE PUBLIC whipped arch-rivals Carib FC for the second time in a week when they met in a Premiership Division match in the Emerald Apartments & Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association.
Romario De Silva gave the Eastern Lions the lead in the 16th minute but veteran Jillineau Gill grabbed a 69th minute equaliser before Kareem Edwards got the winner in the 75th.
St John’s United drubbed Malabar Superstars 5-0 in another game with goals from Vernon Mills in the 48th minute, Sylvester Madray 51st, Gyinde Chiniyelu 62nd, Solomon Kegareit 69th and Jimel Hernandez 80th.
But Prisons and Upper Santa Cruz drew 2-2 in their match-up.
Othneil Stoute put Prisons ahead in the 24th minute but Keon Modeste equalised in the 40th.
Ravi Roopchand restored the Prisons lead after 49th, but Marlon Vidal got the equaliser in the 70th.
Goals rained in the First Division as 22 were scored in four matches led by Malabar FC who shut out Arima Combined 8-0.
Dorian Daniel scored a hat-trick in the 16th, 39th and 61st, David Power grabbed a double in the 42nd and 73rd, while Anthony Noel 18th, Michael Hospedales 65th and Ghayden de Verteuil 87th got the other goals.
1st FC Santa Rosa topped all scorers swamping Tunapuna Titans 9-0 with Robert Alexis scoring five in the 15th, 23rd, 49th, 64th and 87th.
Christopher Young scored two in the 30th and 59th whiel Joel Smith 66th and Jean Paul Aqui-Blanc rounded off the scoring in the 83rd.
