M&M Real Maracas are on brink of capturing the Premiership “Big Four” series in the Emeralds apartments & Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association.

The Maracas men recovered from a 27th minute goal by Kervin Blackford to edge Carib FC 2-1 for their second victory in as many games.

Kurt Danclair fired in the equaliser in the 33rd minute before Handell Manswell grabbed the winner in the 69th.

But they face Joe Public, the Eastern Lions in their final match at Squadron ground on November 30 in a “winner take all” match.

The Lions drubbed St John’s United 5-1 in a game in which the prolific Kevin Caprietta scored four goals.

Caprietta started his feat in the 7th minute, and added further goals in the 20th, 44th and 69th minutes while Kareem Edwards got the other goal in the 8th minute. Sylvester Madre got the consolation in the 42nd.

Malabar FC have taken the lead in the First Division “Big Four” after edging Southeastern Connection 2-1 on goals by Fabian Henry in the 32nd minute and Michael Hospedales in the 71st after Anthony Taylor equalised in the 60th.

And Tunapuna Titans held 1st FC Santa Rosa to a 1-1 draw with Jovan Rochard equalising Kashif Bascombe’s 23rd minute goal in the 65th.
