Pro­lif­ic Queen's Park Crick­et Club's (QPCC) goalscor­er De­von Mod­este fired in a hat-trick to lead his team to a 7-0 rout of RSSR FC when ac­tion in the As­cen­sion Su­per League re­sumed at the week­end (Sat­ur­day and Sun­day).

How­ev­er, the Parkites are sev­enth in the stand­ings with four points from three match­es, trail­ing lead­ers Pris­ons Ser­vice FC by six points.

The Pris­ons' of­fi­cers moved to 10 points be­hind their 3-1 vic­to­ry over strug­gling Guaya Unit­ed FC. The win­ners got goals from Aaron Pe­ters in the ninth, Troy Moses in the 24th and Nathan Julien be­fore the half-time in­ter­val.

The Parkites al­so got a pair of goals from Sean De Sil­va in the 30th and 42nd, and a goal apiece from Ja­son De­von­ish (22nd) and Kern Gar­diner (36th).

The Uni­ver­si­ty of T&T (UTT) stays on the heels of the lead­ers af­ter ham­mer­ing Matu­ra Re­Unit­ed 8-2, from braces from Ke­vaughn Con­nell (11th, 44th) and Glen Walk­er (79th and 89th).

Po­lice were al­so com­fort­able 6-0 vic­tors over Club San­do Up­ris­ing Youths.
