Nicholas Dillon scored three goals on Wednesday to help Central FC to a comfortable 4-1 win over W Connection in a rescheduled Round One Match Day Two game of the Under-18/Reserve division of the 2016 Youth Pro League.

The win push Central three spots up to occupy the summit of U18/Reserve standings with 6 points—two points ahead of Club Sando, Defence Force and North East Stars—after two games.

Dillion, who turns 19 on March 25 and is a “Couva Sharks” senior team forward, opened the scoring in as early as the 2nd minute at the Ato Boldon Stadium.

Dillon, who usually occupies the substitutes’ bench for the senior team and has just one goal this season in the top flight in a 1-0 win over Point Fortin Civic last October, doubled Central’s advantage on the 54 minute before Connection’s Ruel Tyson reduced the deficit in the 86th minute.

But Isaiah Lopez responded a minute later to restore Central’s two-goal advantage before Dillion, a Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 forward and former trialist at MLS club Portland Timbers, made it 4-1 in stoppage-time by completing his hat-trick—taking his tally to 5 goals from two games in the U18/Reserve league.
