Cyd was brought into the T&T team for a tour to Grenada and Brazil in January, 2001. He made his competitive debut in the second match of the final round World Cup Qualifying match against Costa Rica in San Jose on March 28, 2001. He had earlier made his international senior debut in a friendly against Guatemala.

The Tobago-born defender is hardworking and utilises his speed on the flanks very well at times.

He was an integral member of the CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh team which captured the 2002 T&T Professional League title. Cyd spent the previous season with Joe Public.
