National team goalkeeper Marvin Phillip says he’s not likely to return to Vancouver Whitecaps following a trial with the MLS club recently.
The Joe Public custodian spent a few days at the club after being invited.
“I don’t think I’ll be there. The trial went okay but nothing positive came out of it. Hopefully at the beginning of the next MLS season something more concrete will come up.
Right now I’m just focusing on my time with the national team.
“The goalkeepers have a good coach in Jefferson George and we are putting in a lot of effort to ensure we correct our mistakes and keep on improving,” said Phillip.
