Champion Debe Secondary will return to action today, as it looks to continue its 100 per cent winning record since the beginning of the season, when it takes on rival Vessigny Secondary in the BGTT/ First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) South Zone from 3.45 pm.

While Vessigny had an extra match day to rest with a bye on Thursday, Debe got off a whopping 10-0 victory over Fyzabad Secondary, as it continued an impressive start, rivalled only by East Zone’s St Augustine Secondary, which has also won every match of the season. Debe has already played Fyzabad early in the league campaign, with the host earning a 2-0 triumph.

St Augustine, too, will meet a team which it has already taken three points from this season, El Dorado East. When St Augustine hosted El Dorado East last month, the latter sealed an emphatic 9-0 victory, which contributed to its current tally of 53 goals in seven matches. St Augustine is the only team in all four zones that has not conceded a goal all season long.

North Zone leader St Francois, meanwhile, will travel to Fatima Ground, Mucurapo, to face Holy Name Convent. St Francois won the origninal fixture this season with a comfortable 4-0 scoreline. Simone Emmanuel scored a double in that match, with Samantha Kingston and Della Joseph bagging a goal each.
