Sig­nal Hill Sec­ondary School's Ce­line Lo­raine was un­be­liev­able as she helped her team romp to a 21-0 win over Good­wood Sec­ondary in the Girls Cham­pi­onships' To­ba­go Zone in the Shell/First Cit­i­zens Sec­ondary Schools Foot­ball League on Thurs­day evening.

Lo­raine, who has scored in every Sig­nal Hill match, blast­ed in sev­en goals for the leader of the zone at the Bertille St Clair play­ing field, to re­main un­beat­en in the sev­en-team com­pe­ti­tion.

Je­lese Alexan­der was the sec­ond-best scor­er for Sig­nal Hill with five while her team­mates Dil­lea­sia Nichol­son net­ted three and Tiah Crichlow put two in. Ashante Wil­son-Camp­bell, Salati­na Seales, Gamelia Wal­dron each scored once in the on­slaught. The oth­er item came off an own goal de­spite Good­wood's best ef­forts to sub­due its op­po­nent.

For their per­for­mance, Lo­raine and Crichlow were cho­sen as the most valu­able play­ers for Sig­nal Hill while for Good­wood, Caris­sa Cow­an and Di­a­mond Arthur were ad­judged the lead­ing per­form­ers.

In oth­er match­es played in the zone, Bish­op's High and Spey­side al­so had dom­i­nat­ing per­for­mances to earn vic­to­ries. At the Ply­mouth recre­ation ground, Bish­op's High whipped Ma­son Hall, 6-0 and at the Spey­side recre­ation ground, the host team de­feat­ed Scar­bor­ough, 3-0.

Back in Trinidad, in East Zone ac­tion, Ma­he­da Morang and Eve Jones each net­ted a dou­ble to lift Five Rivers to a 5-2 vic­to­ry over San Juan North at the Prime Min­is­ters ground.

Morang opened the scor­ing in the ninth minute to put Five Rivers up 1-0. San Juan didn't stay down for long as Akhi­la Gomez equalised in the 24th. Two min­utes lat­er, Morang put Five Rivers ahead again with her sec­ond item in the 26th.

Jones added a pair of goals in the 39th and 44th, to Five Rivers ahead be­fore An­nia Noel pulled one back for San Juan com­plet­ing a shot from the penal­ty spot in the 54th. Kay­la Ba­boolal sealed the af­fair with a goal in the 63rd for Five Rivers.

Bish­op Anstey East and El Do­ra­do East were al­so win­ners on the day against Va­len­cia (3-2) and Man­zanil­la (2-1), re­spec­tive­ly.

In the North, Holy Name Con­vent's splen­did win streak con­tin­ued af­ter down­ing Bish­op Anstey, 7-1 at the Nel­son Man­dela Park in St Clair, Port-of-Spain. This was thanks to a pair of goals each from Brit­tany Ma­habir, Analeisse Arneaud and Ha­vana Ramdeen. Kai-Marie Simp­son net­ted the oth­er item.

St Joseph Con­vent met Suc­cess Laven­tille and emerged with a 5-0 win. The match be­tween Tran­quil­i­ty and Diego Mar­tin Cen­tral did not play.
