Roxborough Secondary will almost certainly take the Secondary Schools Football League Girls Championship Tobago Zone, after slapping four goals past Scarborough Secondary in a 4-0 win last weekend.

A brace from Nathalia Benjamin and goals from Latoya Cape and Andrea Fraser gave the Tobago team the easy win and with just two matches left, and having beaten last year's champions Signal Hill Secondary and twice defeating Scarborough this season, they need just another point to clinch the title.

Signal Hill, meanwhile, hit six goals past Mason Hall for a 6-1 triumph, with Tamara Morris and Daydre James each having double strikes to ensure a comfortable result.

The biggest win of the day, though, came in the North Zone with Providence Girls hammering nine unanswered goals past Corpus Christi College, Samantha Kissoon (four goals) and Akeisha De La Rosa (three) the main aggressors.

St Joseph's Convent won 7-2 over Blanchisseuse Secondary, with six goals coming from striker Megan Murray.

And Malick, once perrennial North Zone winners, were turned back 4-1 by Maple Leaf International.

Down South, Debe Secondary continued their march to victory with a default win over Pleasantville Secondary.
