St Joseph’s Convent will be looking to close the gap on St Francois Nationals in the North Zone when the BGTT First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League resumes today in the four zones.

St Joseph, which are trailing St Francois by three points will host Holy Name at St Joseph Convent Ground, Port-of-Spain at 3.45 pm. Leaders St Francois will take on winless Maple Leaf at the Queen’s Park Savannah while Providence plays Malick in the other fixture, at the same time.

Meanwhile, in the East Zone, Arima North will have the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the zonal table when the school takes on Sunday’s big 9-0 winners, El Dorado East at the El Dorado West Ground.

One other match will be played in the zone, between third place Point Fortin East and Holy Faith in Penal.

Tobago Zone leaders Roxborough will host point-less Mason Hall at the Roxborough Ground, while Bishops chellenges second place Scarborough at Bishops Ground. Speyside and Signal Hill will take to the Speyside Recreation Ground in the other Tobago fixture.
