Debe Secondary yesterday earned the first spot in the BG T&T/ First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League Girls Championship "Big Four" final with a 3-0 whipping of Tobago champions Roxborough Secondary.

Debe got first half goals from former national under-17 women' team players Kayla Taylor and captain Patrice Vincent, as well as an item from Rae-Ann Montano.

First, Taylor slotted home a fifth-minute free kick to the left of Roxborough goalkeeper Shanice Sylvester after the custodian handled outside the area. And in the 17th, Patrice Vincent finished a wonderful solo effort off a loose ball with a strike beneath the crossbar.

In the 55th minute–15 minutes into the second half–Montano capped off the scoring off the feed from Taylor's run down the right flank.

Scarborough did cause Debe a few nervous moments, their best effort being a close-range shot by Njemile Charles over an open goal in the 12th minute.

In Thursday's final, Debe will meet the winners of today's clash between El Dorado East Secondary and St Francois Girls College.
