First round winners of the Tobago Zone of the BG T&T/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League will be decided today when the two unbeaten teams, Scarborough Secondary (nine points) and Signal Hill Secondary (nine points), face off from 4 p.m. at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet.

The match is the first of a double-header which will also see the bottom teams Pentecostal Life & light and Speyside Secondary facing off two hours later. Both have yet to gain a single point. Scarborough and Signal Hill both have a hundred per cent record after three matches.

However, Signal Hill lead the standings by virtue of goal average having scored 11 goals and conceded one, while Scarborough have scored eight and conceded once. Victory will give either side a decisive advantage with just five matches left in the second round.

Today also marks the end of the end of the first round in the Central Zone, where the most interesting clash may be the traditional meeting between Carapichaima East Secondary and Presentation College.

Presentation are not the force of old and are just one off the bottom, but having been the dominant force for years in the zone they are expected to hold their own when playing at home against Carapichaima, who have bossed the zone in recent years.

Elsewhere, today's matches marks the start of the second round. In the North Zone, unbeaten leaders St Anthony's College are away to third-placed St Mary's College, who they beat 2-0 at the start of round one.

Meanwhile, second -placed East Mucurapo will hope to do better than their first round 1-1 draw when they entertain underachieving Queen's Royal College at Fatima ground.

Two big matches take place in the East Zone. Leaders St Augustine (13 points) host second-placed El Dorado East (11 points), while third-placed San Juan North (eight points) are at home against Arima North (eight points).

Meanwhile, Manny Ramjohn Stadium is the place to be down South. Naparima entertain Pleasantville at 3 p.m. while two hours later there is the traditional meeting between Presentation College (San Fernando) and St Benedict's College).
