Nine Club Sando starters in the 2013 Toyota Classic final, including MVP Kern Cupid, were former W Connection players. However, Club Sando coach Anthony Streete maintains that his club is not yet a professional one.

DIRECTV W Connection are the Toyota Classic champions for a third time in tournament’s nine-year history.

Present Pro League leaders DIRECTV W Connection and Super League leaders Club Sando will square off from 8 pm on Saturday November 30 at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva to contest the 2013 Toyota Classic crown.

Joevin Jones led with a goal and was involved in two others, all in the second half on Friday, to inspire DIRECTV W Connection to a comfortable 3-0 win over Guaya United in semi-final two of the 2013 Toyota Classic at the Ato Boldon Stadium.

The stage is set for an intense affair in today’s Toyota Classic final when DirecTV W Connection looks to withstand the challenge of Club Sando, the Super League’s longstanding frontrunner.

Guaya United coloured the borough of Point Fortin green on Sunday after defeating home side Point Fortin Civic 2-0 at the Mahaica Oval in the quarter-final round of the 2013 Toyota Classic.
