Real Dimension will meet Petrotrin Women on Sunday as the Women’s League Football (Wolf) Competition kicks off at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya from 3 pm. Following the opening encounter, Defence Force will do battle with CAL San Juan Jabloteh from 5 pm at the same venue. Matches will be played in two divisions (First and Premier) every Sunday at various venues.

Competition is scheduled to commence in Trinidad on Saturday. However, up to press time, head coach Corbin Cooper noted that he was still waiting on information on whether the League will have an official opening including march past and other formalities or if they will go straight into games.

Women against breast cancerAll Sport Promotions in association with Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited will host the first ever Scotiabank Kick Against Breast Cancer football tournament as part of the ongoing activities in aid of ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month.’ Sixteen women’s teams will congregate to support this charitable event, the first of its kind to held at the Casuals Corner, Queen’s Park Savannah this Sunday 25th October, kick off is at 10:00am.

Sweaters Touring TeamBlue Waters Sweaters Touring Team are the first Champions of the Scotiabank Kick Against Breast Cancer Football Tournament which took place on Sunday 25th October at the Casuals Corner, Queen’s Park Savannah. Sweaters, beat out fifteen other teams from clubs all over the country to capture the champions’ trophy as well as bragging rights. Runners up in the tournament was Digicel Tobago F.C. who put up a tough fight in the finals, but could not equalize leaving the final score at 1-0.
