THIS WEEKEND’S action in the TT WoLF (Women’s League Football) saw wins for Flow Sports Real Dimension, Trincity Nationals and the National Under-17 to move up the Super League standings.

However the game between Mic-It St Ann’s Rangers B and St Augustine FC in the First Division were cancelled on Sunday due to issues with the condition of the ground at the St Augustine Secondary School.

On Saturday afternoon, at UWI SPEC Ground in St Augustine, it was smooth sailing for Dimension as they defeated Petrotrin 2-1, continuing their unbeaten run and pulling away at the top of the Super League table momentarily.

Scorers were national players Karyn Forbes and Tasha St Louis for Dimension while Kurlene Jacob netted for Petrotrin.

In a heated encounter at the St Anthony’s College Ground in Westmoorings, Queen’s Park earned a hard-fought 3-2 win over Trincity Nationals.

It was a disappointing result for Trincity Nationals who were looking to maintain their position at the top with Dimension close on their heels.

However they remain only three points behind current leaders Trincity.

At Palo Seco, the National U-17s recorded their first win of the season with a 3-2 result over bottom of the table Club Sando, who remain without a point so far.
