Tobago FC have won the Trinidad and Tobago Women's Football League (WoLF) title without kicking a ball in anger. The local team was gifted the title when Petrotrin failed to show for their rescheduled match on August 5 at the Plymouth Recreation Ground.

The default win propelled Tobago F.C. to 22 points from their 12 matches, two more than the National Under 17 team.

Tobago FC need a win or a draw to finish above the National Under 17 Ladies who were currently occupying the top spot by one point. They however would have been without their prolific striker and national senior player, Kenya "Ya Ya" Cordner who had scored 14 goals for the season and the Forbes sisters, three of their more influential players.

Cordner is currently in Sweden where she secured a three-month contract with amateur club Kvarnsvedens LK while both Kimika and Karyn Forbes are on tour with the National Under 20 team to Jamaica. They have qualified for the quarter finals whipping Petrotrin 6-2 in a double header at the Ato Boldon Stadium recently.
