MORIAH YOUTHS eked out a 3-2 victory over Leeds United on Tuesday, to keep hope alive in the Championship Division of the Tobago Football Association.

Kester Kerr fired in a double and Aaron Clarke got the other goal for the winners while Kelvon Morris doubled up for Leeds in the game played at Moriah.

Moriah Youths now have 17 points and trail leaders Golden Lane (28) by 11.

Lowly St Clair’s Coaching School with only seven points from their 11 matches, featured in a nine-goal thriller in their Division One clash at River Bank also on Tuesday. But they came up one goal shy, as Goodwood United with 25 points edged them 5-4.

The game was a personal triumph for striker Mark Agard who netted four goals for Goodwood with Andel Reid getting the other. Shondel Morris, Donnelle Grant, Joel Burris and Jerry McMillan scored for Coaching School.

But Carnbee/Mt Pleasant escaped with a 2-1 win over Calder Hall at Signal Hill.

Goals from Dominique Roberts and Michael John gave the leaders the victory. Samuel Quamina got the Calder Hall goal.

Charlotteville Unifiers edged Federal Northside 1-0 on a goal by Akeem Chadban at Moriah.
