W CONNECTION clinched the Digicel Pro League Reserve Division title on Wednesday following a 2-0 victory over Defence Force in a Round One Match Day Seven encounter.

With the result, Connection maintained its 100-percent record, and have a three-point edge over North East Stars.

Connection cannot be caught by the chasing pack and they have an outstanding game against TTEC to complete their successful run in this competition.

On Wednesday, Anthony Parris found the back of the net in the 43rd minute while Matthew Woo Lin got his name on the score-sheet in the 49th.

North East Stars remained in second spot after a comfortable 4-0 triumph over Police. Daryl Trim opened the scoring in the 23rd, while Marcus Gomez (39th), Ryan Stewart (44th) and Nathan Regis (80th) were the other goal-getters.

Caledonia AIA overtook Defence Force for third spot with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over the hapless San Juan Jabloteh. Akil James put Jabloteh in front after 28th but ex-Trinidad and Tobago forward Conrad Smith responded with a pair, in the 42nd and 56th.

TTEC notched the most lopsided result on the day, with a 6-2 hammering of St Ann’s Rangers.

Former national midfielder Andrei Pacheco put TTEC in front after three minutes but Rangers responded with an own goal (23rd) and the go-ahead strike from ex-TT forward Hector Sam (45th).

TTEC responded with a five-goal burst in the second half, with doubles from Dwayne Edwards (53rd and 82nd) and Simeon Augustus (79th and 90th), and one from Joshua Bachan (76th).
