W CONNECTION and North East Stars earned 5-2 victories, over Police and San Juan Jabloteh respectively, in the Under-18 Division of the Oasis Youth League on Sunday.
Action was in Round Two Match Day Four of the Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 Divisions.
In the Under-18s, which held centre stage on the day, Connection returned to their winning ways with a trouncing of Police.
Neil Benjamin scored a double (11th and 88th minutes) while Akeem Roach (23rd), Kyle Celestine (47th) and Jomal Williams (90th) were the goal-getters for Connection, who maintained their lead on the standings. Jabari Thomas (26th) and Osei Charles (30th) replied for Police.
North East Stars stayed in third position after they took care of the lowly Jabloteh.
Enrique Lezama (24th and 56th) netted twice, while Dejon Waldropp (second), Shaquille Bertrand (12th) and Taje Commissiong (75th) added one apiece.
Jabloteh got strikes from David Nkosi (fourth) and Akim Andrews (55th).
TTEC stayed in second spot following a 3-1 win over Caledonia AIA.
For TTEC, Angel Williams (27th), Justin Goolcharan (64th) and Shaquille Henry (86th) found the back of the net, after Dwayne Calliste (eighth) put Caledonia ahead.
And Defence Force whipped St Ann’s Rangers 2-0 with Kadeem Joseph (31st) and Mackesi Quashie (41st) on target.
