Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 17 Women’s footballers will resume preparations for the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in Trinidad next week after falling in their second and final warm up with Brazil 7-1 in Teresopolis on Friday evening.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Under 17 footballers have settled into camp at the official training centre of  the   Brazilian Football Federation and will face the Brazil National Under 17 Women’s team on Sunday at 9am (8am T&T time).

Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 17 women’s team will try to remain unbeaten against Brazil when both teams meet in the second of two warm up matches at the Brazilian National Training Centre in Teresopolis on Friday from 2pm TT  time.

We have been here for a week and I must say the trip has been going very well far. We played our first game yesterday and it was really a good performance by us and I was very proud of the way we handled it as a team.

The Trinidad and Tobago Under-17 women football team will participate in a two-match tour of Brazil, from July 19 to 31.

Trinidad and Tobago's National Under-17 women footballers sent a signal that they intend to be no pushovers in the upcoming FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup when they gave a creditable showing in a 1-1 draw with Brazil's Under-17 team in Teresopolis yesterday.

Shane De Silva and Cindy Mohammed will be the pair of Trinidad and Tobago officials who were assigned for the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup, which will be staged here, in the twin-island republic, from September 5-25.
