Clint Tedd fired in a beaver-trick as Siparia Spurs hammered San Fernando Giants 7–1 in the Southern Football Association Petrotrin Super League clash on Wednesday. Chris Collins added a pair of goals and Yohan Neptune chipped in with the other for Spurs, while Francis Figuera netted Giants’ lone item.

With the win, leader Spurs improved to 24 points from ten matches, two ahead of Alutrint La Brea All Stars. K-Brands is third with 20. Led by a hat-trick from Sylvan Jones, La Brea kept up the pressure on Spurs with a convincing 5–2 demolition of cellar-placed Los Iros. Johnathan Nedd and Alvin Alexander also scored a goal each.

For Los Iros, Joseph Mitchell and Kelton Salazar were on target. In two other Super League encounters, Penal Rock Road slipped past Palo Seco 1–0 with Frederick Graham the scorer, while Penal All Stars got goals from Dave Ferdinand and Len Mejias to blank Uprising Youths 2–0. In the Roy Jagroopsingh Second Division, there were victories for leaders MIC, Palo Seco and Diamond Utd.
