Former W Connection striker Aaron Downing netted a brace as Caroni Samba won for the third time in five matches to move to the top of the Central Football Association league standings.

Samba danced all over Cap Off Youths, beating them 5-0 at Waterloo.

Downing (25th and 43rd) scored the first two goals, before Quami Knights (45th) helped them build a 3-0 half-time lead. Teba Mckinght, another ex-W Connection striker, made it 4-0 in the 53rd before Devon Drayton got the final goal in the 67th.

Moving into second in the standings were Edinburgh 500 who were at home when beating Leeds 4-1 last Saturday.

Jamal Sobers (25th, 72nd), Atiba Alves (54th) and Tavrean Sobers (62nd) were on target for Edinburgh 500 after Menelik Elcock (5th) had given the visitors an early lead.
