Football / Forget the J'Lloyod Samuel speculation

Just saw a feature on him on Sky Sports News.  He believes that next season is the one to break into the England team, he called it 'make or break!?'....does this mean if he doesn't, he gonna do a Shaka?....well there was no mention at all about T&T in the interview and it seems from the piece that this guy truly believes he has a future under Sven (i.e. the 2006 WC Squad). In my view he is a bit deluded, but say what....lets leave the talk about this fella for good.  Well at least until after we qualify fuh 2006, he doh make the England team and we blank him we he come begging tuh get into the final squad 

good luck to T&T in the Gold Cup......make them tremble!!!

Scotland play the whole game and Samuel came on with about 15 mins left....neither did anything too special. I've converted the game to WMV format so if anyone want a copy let me know.

Just watching the pre game show for the Rangers - Celtic game. The team sheets aren't in yet but the commentators say Mcleish has said Andrews will start.

Football / Zamora scores to beat Jones and Stoke

Game just done..Zamora came on as a sub to score the match winner for the Hammers vs Stoke. Kenwyne Jones started and was involved early on. Not sure if he finished the game as I didn't really pay attention to the match throughout.

Football / Manage T&T in Football Manager 2005

You guys may already be aware and I know some people doh like this sort of time wastin on the boards....but

You can manage T&T in the current World Cup qualifying in the game Football Manager 2005 ( apparently in some non-UK markets it is called World Soccer Manager 2005) the simulation starts from the Concacaf semi-final group stages. Though some of the info on the players and the team is dated and to tell you the truth I aint heard of some of the players they say are Trini's,most of the major players are there (some with accurate photo's!). Nakhid was missing and Yorke/Lata's classed as retired from international ball. However the game comes with an editor so these problems are easily solved. The one annoying thing is the groups are randomly generated so it is extremely unlikely that you will be matched against the exact teams we faced. On an interesting note, Yuh man Richard Goddard is in the game with proper posistion! Fuh those who are interested this is made by the people that made the original Championship Manager games, Sports interactive http://www.sigames.com/ . Forget the new Championship Manager series it is bugged to hell. To manage T&T in the game all you do is generate a new game then set the database to at least large then select the option to generate all players from T&T. When you get to the option to select a team to manage T&T will be in the national teams section.

The game is even more indepth than previous Championship Manager games, seriously addictive if you like simulation gaming.

Edwards and Lawrence finish the Game...did'nt see the whole thing so ah doh know if Sam play. Edwards was class...a cut above the rest of the players. Lawrence was nothing special from the 20 mins of normal time and 30 mins of extra time i saw. Final score 2-0 to Wrexham over Southend.

If anyone interested, Eurosport is showing Mexico vs the USA live from 7pm tomorrow, there is apparently a bit of a pregame build up in the next 15 or 20 mins. If you don't know already Eurosport is a free channel so any Digital or cable reciever will have it. They have been showing highlights from all over the globe in the past hour and carried some Asian qualifiers live yesterday....so you never know T&T vs Guatemala might get a passing mention

Its got uptodate video match summaries of all major Euro leagues...check it out quick as these things tend to get shutdown pretty fast. Video is fairly good quality as well.

Shaka was a studio guest with Ed de Goey (fuh 2 hours!) on Sky's 'Goals on Sunday' programme weekend before last. He is a quality individual but could'nt hide his dissappointment about being on the bench and looked a bit uncomfortable in the studio, still, I enjoyed his input...excellent!
