Here is something that is huge but gets little attention from us and of course the global track & field world....
Another addition to London.

Trinidad and Tobago's Keshorn Walcott went to the top of the all-time western hemisphere junior (under-20) javelin performance list when he hurled the spear 80.11 metres, at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) centennial anniversary meet, in Havana, Cuba, on Sunday.
Walcott's monster throw was also an Olympic qualifier, bettering the 79.50 metres B standard.
Two Saturdays ago, 19-year-old Walcott threw 78.94m at the Quantum Classic here in Trinidad to add the national senior and North America, Central America and Caribbean (NACAC) junior records to his national junior and Central American and Caribbean (CAC) junior records.
On Sunday, the four-time Carifta Games gold medallist improved on his four records, moving into the number one spot on the all-time hemispherical under-20 list in the process. He replaced Argentina's Braian Toledo (79.73m).
Walcott, currently the top junior in the world this year, is now 15th on the all-time global under-20 list.
Walcott and Toledo will square off at the July 10-15 World Junior Championships, in Barcelona, Spain.
On Sunday, Walcott stamped his class on the competition with a 75.73m opening round effort. And then, in round two, he produced the record-breaking 80.11m effort. Walcott fouled in the third round, threw 71.92m in the fourth, and then passed in rounds five and six.
Walcott struck gold in the event, beating Colombians Dayron Marquez (78.00m), Arley Ibarguen (74.22m) and Noraldo Palacios (71.75m) into second, third and fourth, respectively. Cuba's Michel Miranda (70.05m) finished fifth.
Another T&T field athlete, Quincy Wilson, copped fourth spot in the men's discus with a 56.33m throw.
Jorge Fernandez emerged victorious with a 61.97m effort, forcing fellow Cuban Yunio Lastre (60.19m) to settle for silver. Bronze went to Mexico's Mario Cota (57.58m), while fifth spot was copped by another Cuban, Randy Noa (55.41m).
Wilson threw 51.90m in round one, fouled twice, produced a 55.03m effort in the fourth round, and then landed the implement 56.33m in round five. He closed off his campaign with a 55.15m throw.
At the IAAF World Challenge meet, in Rabat, Morocco, on Sunday, T&T's Lalonde Gordon finished fifth in the men's 200m event in a wind-assisted 20.81 seconds.
Morocco's Aziz Ouhadi clocked 20.50 to grab gold, ahead of France's David Alerte (20.67), Egypt's Amr Ibrahim Mostafa Seoud (20.72) and South Africa's Simon Magakwe (20.77). Briton Marlon Devonish was sixth in 21 seconds flat.
Each meet for the year has produced a new record from KW. Of course, this is another accomplishment from a Trini that is overlooked by the global reporters of T&F. We would hear more about Mr Walcott if he was American or Jamaican.
And yes it is a new national record for TT.
Just some FYI... 3 national records for the month of May.
Javelin Throw- Keshorn Walcott - 80.11
110 hurdles - Wayne Davis- 13.37
200m - Semoy Hackett- 22.55
I hope we can carry this momentum through to the Olympics.
