For the last five years, the NLCL Community Cup has thankfully grown from strength to strength, based on extremely generous sponsors, as well as, hardworking and wonderful committee, teams, volunteers, match officials, fans and supporters. There is tremendous pride in maintaining very high standards, as all engage in what can be deemed our Christian duty. Even as the nation exited the Covid pandemic lockdown, this would have been one entity ready to begin an expanded tournament encompassing teams from communities across the length and breadth of Trinidad & Tobago.

ON May 25, Pro Series will go in search of two titles in the Trinidad leg of the 2024 Republic Cup competition when they contest the boys’ under-16 final and the girls’ under-20 final respectively.

PRO Series’ under-20 girls’ football team were crowned the 2024 Republic Cup National Youth Football League Champions of Champions on June 15 after getting an exciting 2-1 win against Tobago Chicas in their encounter at the Republic Bank Sports Club in Barataria.

City FC stayed in contention for two 2024 Republic Cup National Youth Football League crowns after registering quarterfinal wins in both the under-14 and under-20 divisions on April 28.

Pro Series copped the Trinidad leg of the Republic Cup National Youth Football League girls' under-20 title when they got an exciting 6-5 penalty shootout win against MIC Matura ReUnited at the Republic Bank Sport Club in Barataria on June 8.

Tinto Sports Academy swept the football divisions on April 27 at the Ministry of Sport and Community Development District Sports east zone, at the Eddie Hart Ground, Tacarigua.

EVOLUTION FC, Pro Series and Tobago’s Ball Blasters Youth Academy copped the respective age group titles when the 2024 Republic Cup Youth Football League held its national finals at UTT, O’Meara on June 2.

TRENDSETTER Hawks' girls' teams starred on the opening day of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) on April 20 when they registered convincing victories in their respective North-East under-13 and under-15 divisions at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine.
