Two second-half goals made the difference in the University of North Florida men’s soccer match against Longwood on Tuesday afternoon when the Ospreys battled back from an early one-goal hole to pick up a non-conference win, 3-1.

On the heels of back-to-back wins last week over non-conference opponent Concord University (6-1) and conference opponent Catawba College (4-0), Carson-Newman's Marcus Cabralis (Trinidad and Tobago) has been named South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week by the sports information directors throughout the league.

The Belmont men's soccer team had never begun its Atlantic Sun slate undefeated after three games until Sunday afternoon, as Belmont (7-4-1, 2-0-1 A-Sun) defeated East Tennessee State (4-7-0, 0-4-0 A-Sun), 4-0, at Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn.
