Chelsea FC Foundation coaches received a warm welcome when they arrived at the Courtleigh Hotel and Suites in Jamaica for the start of the annual Digicel Kickstart youth football coaching programme.
Coach Steve Winnett and his fellow Chelsea FC Foundation coaches are preparing for the start of the Digicel Kickstart Academy which begins today and ends on November 1.
The Chelsea FC Foundation coaches will host 42 of the best young football talents in the Caribbean and Central America at the Digicel Kickstart Academy, where they will be training 42 aspiring young footballers from 13 countries across the Caribbean and Central America at Sabina Park.
Players will undergo a week of intense training similar to the programme carried out in the Chelsea FC youth team programme, culminating with a match against Jamaica’s National Under-16 team.
