Lewis scored his first goal on a corner kick from the left side that sailed over El Salvador goalkeeper Carlos Rivera. The second goal also came off a restart, a Hutson Charles corner kick from the right side. Lewis out-jumped El Salvador's defenders and his header beat Rivera, who came off his line attempting to grab the ball.
