Islanders beat WBC 7-0 in the second leg and win on a 8-1 agg., Villaroel play the full 90, while a trini that plays for WBC got red carded for a hand in the box that caused a penalty. The four semifinalist are set and the draw will be done soon.

Islanders that are making the trip to Suriname

Adrian Whitbread, Kevon Villaroel, Osei Telesford, Joseph Salem, Gregory Richardson, Aaron Pitchkolan, Jay Needham, Cody Laurendi, Scott Jones, David Foley, Jonathan Faņa, Noah Delgado, Jamie Cunningham, Christian Cotto, Ray Burse, Colin Clarke, Matthew Bouraee y Nicholas Addlery.

Looks like Telesford injury wasn't as bad as we expected.

Well I didn't see a thread just talking about the tournament and I thought I should open one up.

We already now Alpha United of Guyana and Defence Force made it to the semis. Caledonia is down 1-0 in the series against Tempete of Haiti. PR Islanders and  Walking Bout of Suriname don't play their series until May.

I personally think Caledonia will make it out but I also thought it would be a tight series, same with the River Plate PR and Alpha series, I had River Plate winning that one. Now as expected DF made it out very easily and I expect Islanders to do the same. On a side note, Islanders' trini midy Osei Telesford suffered a injury today during the clubs 3-1 victory, so he may be in doubt for the CFU games. To bad too cause he was really on fire this first three games of the season.

Nigel Henry is back with the Islanders after a half a season of retirment. It's official there are more Trinis in the PR Islanders than Puerto Ricans: Kevon Daniels, Nigel Henry, Keon Villaroel, Osei Telesford, and Jaggy. They are true to their name, most players are from an island.

Them ruled by the US

That's not saying a whole lot.

US Territory

So is Guam and the USVI... but you don't need US work permits to work there.  These territories are self-governing and not automatically subject to the same administrative regulations as the US states.  Heck they can't even vote for President or Congressional representatives.  They don't even have to pay taxes like us here in the US.

Its complicated, but all US territories are under the jurisdiction of the US Congress, we are subjected to Federal Law, and its my understanding that PR has always been treated as part of the US with regards of work visa, passports, etc. Also all territories have a congress representative they just cant vote on anything.

Jabloteh still advance on head to head even if bayamon wins

Yes, but if Joe doesn't win with more than 3 goals over whatever Bayamon has, Islanders win the cup.

Bayamon just scored 2-1 Bayamon, 53 min

It all depends, whats the longest video of the game+incident, 9 minutes at most? Of 90 minutes + 45 minutes. From the little info(video we have) River does carry the lion's share of the blame, but it mostly looks like a incident highlight than anything else. I myself reserve my full judgment until I get to see the full game+incident. And don't misunderstand I'm not condoning anything that River did, theres no place for violence in football for whatever reason it may be. Unfortunately we will probably never get to see the full events of that day. Winner in this? Papa Jack, how gets to snuff two teams with one ruling.

Bayamon has been outscores by both, the Islanders and Jabloteh, so it's safe to say that the same will happen against Public, I predict something around the same scoreline, 3-0, 3-1, 4-0, or 4-1. If the Islanders beat Jabloteh it all depends on the scoreline of both game to see who's the Champ. There are other scenarios but I just dont see Public loosing or tieing to Bayamon, so the only chance of another team winning has to be the one described above.

Guys, I post the links here so you can follow your teams live, dont go into our chats and instigate arguments, come on have some self restrain, if its somebody from here.

Game ended Jabloteh 4-1 Bayamon, Bayamon keeper got red carded before the 3rd goal I think.

J.Public, Islanders and almost certainly Jabloteh are the CFu reps for the CCL, now is all about whos going to win it, Islanders or J. Public.

2-1 Jabloteh, remember if either bayamon or jabloteh win this game Islanders and J. Public are already qualified for the CCL

O and for the islanders, Jaggy and Osei started and Villaroel came in as a late sub in the 85 minute, and I heard rumors that Daniel may be ready to play on sunday.

Final: Islanders 1-1 J.Public

Islanders equalized the score with seconds left in the game, with this result they hold on to first in the standing.

Bayamon vs S.J. Jabloteh is about to start

I was informed by the Islanders operations manager that all cards accumulated during the other round of the tournament where removed for the final round, the islanders also had red carded player, she told me they check throughly with the CFU before allowing Jones, the Islander's red carded player to be selected for the squad against Bayamon FC.

Well we are a day away from the start of the final round, todays Islanders practice was cancelled do to security concerns do to political demonstrations ::)

Where were they supposed to practice. At Marvin Lee stadium.

I'm not sure originally I think it was Marvin Lee but they went and there was a girls teams there, then on the way back they saw a big field and try to practice there but the police told them it wasn't safe because of political demonstrations.
