I was talking about the times
Time is decent considering 1. that they won (placed 1st & 2nd) and 2. the wind reading was negative.

Also consider that some tracks are faster than others and not every track is as fast as our local track at the HCS.
De higher a monkey climbs is de less his ass is on de line, if he works for FIFA that is! ;-)

Maybe his doctors have found something to give him that the testers cannot pick up and they are doing whatever it takes to ensure that Kirani James cannot get the better of Merritt this season.

Would be nice to see Quow dip under 45s a few times this season has he hasn't done so for a number of years out side of a relay leg.

It is the same track that mla ran on. So that indicates it is a fast track and the wind was also negative

Good point. Maybe they both did just enough to win as winning is more important than your time?

Yes. I believe their return will solidify our medal contentions in the 4x100. With MLA emerging, and steady improvements by the others, its just a matter of time before we medal in the 4x100.

I am really looking forward to the 400m Final at T&T National Champs 2014 in June that barring anyone getting injured should feature the likes of Lendore vs Gordon vs Quow vs Cedenio vs Richards vs Roudette vs Solomon vs Hewitt vs Alleyne-Forte.

Our T&T national 400m record of 44.21 set by Ian Morris in 1992 could possibly go this year if the conditions are right!

Lendore might be tired from the upcoming regionals and subsequent NCAAs especially with his workload (4x1, 4, 4x4), while the likes of Quow and Gordon would be resting up, "sharpening their blades". Commonwealth Games however would be another story once Lendore is rested and primed. Too bad Cedenio can't join those 3 for the CWG 4x400m relay, as the WJC runs simultaneously with the CWG (Roudette should be a good substitute if he is indeed cleared to represent T&T). Hopefully all 4/5 of them will hold form or improve for 2015 WC and 2016 OLY.

Don't forget about Jarrin Solomon, he is a great 4x4 relay animal even though his official 400m PB is not as quick as the others mentioned.

I think Roudette is already cleared to run for T&T otherwise they won't have him listed as a Trinidad & Tobago athlete on the IAAF website: http://www.iaaf.org/athletes/trinidad-and-tobago/carlyle-roudette-262822
