This edition of "Where are they now?" features former City Islander Yu Hoshide. Yu is nowing playing for Joe Public of the Trinidad & Tobago Pro League. He talks about his time with Harrisburg, the CONCACAF Champions League, and more. Thanks Yu, and good luck in 2010! One thing I have got to say is.... man, Yu's english is a heck of a lot better then my Japanese!

Q- First off, can you tell us how you enjoyed your time with the City Islanders? Do you have a favorite moment or match from your season as a City Islander?
Yu- I remember all moments that I played with a City Islanders! I am proud of myself, the facts that I was able to get scores and many assists. I am really thankful for the fact that I was offered the position from the staff, and each player was really kind toward me, although I couldn't speak English at all. I was able to enjoy my first season of playing soccer in a foreign country. In addition, I was so happy and grateful for having lots of fans who supported me. So it was really hard for me to leave City Islanders. I still even think about my old teammates from City Islanders and the life in downtown Harrisburg!

Q- Now you are with Joe Public of the TT Pro League. How has your team done and what are some of your favorite moments with them?
Yu- I got the contract with Joe Public in July, 2009. Joe Public has gotten 5 titles out of 6 competitions in the country. I am truly satisfied with the fact that I play games as a starting lineup in this team. It was awesome the moments of winning each title. As a result, we can join the CFU Caribbean Champion Cup from March, 19th. If we won the games, we can play in CONCACAF Champions League. So this season will be such an exciting one for us! However, I had just got injury on my knee on 10th, this month and am trying to recover from that right now...

Q- You have played in Japan, the U.S. and now Trinidad & Tobago. What is it like playing soccer in T&T? How has it differed from playing in the states with Harrisburg?
Yu- To be honest, I wanted to play in the U.S. since last season and even now.  The styles of playing soccer in T&T match with mine since they often connect simple passes. Someday, I am hoping to play in somewhere in the U.S. again. I am hoping to show everyone the way I grew as a player!
