Joe Public rallied from an early set-back to hammer San Juan Jabloteh 5-1 in the Under-18 Division as the Oasis Youth League Round Two Match Day One action took place on June 6.
Kedar Roderick gave Jabloteh a first minute lead before Neil Mitchell equalised five minutes later.
Rondell Eli got the go-ahead goal for Joe Public in the 16th while Nathan Julien (29th), Kyle Bartholomew (42nd) and Keenaz Williams (57th) got their names on the scoresheet as Joe Public remained atop of the standings with 25 points.
Also with a tally of 25 points is W Connection (but with an inferior goal difference to Joe Public) who got a 3-0 default victory over Defence Force.
Ma Pau, just like Joe Public, rebounded from an early deficit to crush St Ann’s Rangers 4-1 to remain in third spot.
A 28th minute penalty from Josiah Alleyne gave Rangers the initiative but Dwight Ceballo equalised in the 37th. Shaquille Nesbitt put Ma Pau in front in the 48th while Akiel Jack got Ma Pau’s third goal in the 68th and Samuel Delice completed the scoring in the 73rd.
Police got a hat-trick from Kurdell Braithwaite as they drubbed North East Stars 5-0. Tevin Mungo (29th) and Japhia Ellis (33rd) gave the lawmen a two-goal lead before Braithwaite took over proceedings, as he found the back of the net in the 35th, 39th and 66th minutes.
The other game in the Under-18 Division saw Tobago United battle to a goal-less draw with FC SouthEnd.
