'Pres' go for South title today

Pres, who are on a nine-game winning streak, have a perfect 27 points from nine matches and their closest rivals are Shiva Boys Hindu College, who are eight points back in second place but also have a game in hand.

In the second match of the double header, Pleasantville Secondary will tackle Naparima College from 5 p.m.

Shiva Boys take on Princes Town Secondary in the other match in the zone in Penal from 3:45 p.m.

In the North, defending champions St Anthony's College are just three points clear at the top of the standing with 21 points and cannot afford any lapses against third placed St Mary's College (14 points) when the two sides meet in Westmoorings from 3:45 p.m.

East Mucurapo who are second on the North Zone standings with 18 points, are on a bye today.

Other matches in the North will see second from last Diego Martin North Secondary taking on Fatima College in Diego Martin and last place Trinity College on the road to Queen's Royal College.
