CHAMPIONS and leaders St Clair’s Coaching School were made to struggle for their 16th victory in the Premier Division of the Tobago Football Association.

But they escaped with a 1-0 victory over third placed Roxborough Lakers at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Wednesday, with a goal from Anderson Taylor which sent them (46 points) eight points clear of nearest rivals Sidey’s.

Mason Hall United SSS whipped Taylor’s Rentals Goal City 4-2 at the same venue also on Wednesday.

Kevorn Adams scored twice while Keldon Baker and L’che Edwards got one goal each for the winners while Ikim Chgarles netted both for Goal City.

Meanwhile, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant squeaked a 1-0 triumph over Hills United at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Tuesday, on a James Thomas goal, and edged to the top of the First Division with 34 points, one more than both long time leaders Youth Stars United and Hills United.

Nolan Orr scored the only goal of the match to give Earlbrokes a 1-0 win over Mason Hall PYC at the same venue also on Tuesday.
