Adelphi University senior Patrick Figueiredo and sophomore Thorne Holder each earned Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) weekly honors as announced by the conference office on October 6. Figueiredo was named Player of the Week while Holder was honored as Goalie of the Week.
Holder, a Trinidad and Tobago native, recorded two shutouts in 180 minutes last week. The first shutout came against Manhattan in a 3-0 victory and the second in a 2-0 win over LaSalle. He combined for 10 saves and has posted a shutout in three of his first five games in net.
The Panthers return to action when they host Princeton University on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 pm.
