Men's Soccer Player Named Region III Player Of The Year; Seven Players Named To All-Region III Team Posted: November 24, 2008.
Seven HCCC players were named to the all-Region III team, five to the first and two to the second. Seniors Lee Martins, Harry Appiah (Pawtucket, RI), and Sean Trinidad (White Plains, NY) and freshmen Demetrius Lawrence (Reading, England) and James Taber (Liverpool, NY) were named to the first team. Senior Rob Dickinson (Endicott, NY) and freshman Kariym Balthazar (Brooklyn, NY) were named to the second team.
"All seven played a big part in leading Herkimer to the programs seventh national championship," said men's soccer coach Pepe Aragon.
