Keith Williams II (Jr., Trinidad & Tobago) scored a goal in each half to lead the UMaine Fort Kent Bengals to a 4-0 shutout of UMaine Presque Isle in the annual Potato Barrel game and the first ever men’s contest held in Fort Kent. The win gave the 9-0 (5-0 SC) Bengals their 10th straight Potato Barrel over their neighbors in the north.

Jermaine West (Jr., St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) and Henley Comrie (Sr., St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) added first-half goals for UMFK who was ranked no. 6 in the NAIA Men’s Soccer Top 25 released late Tuesday evening by the national office.  David Girouard (So., St-Eustache, Quebec) picked up his eighth shutout on the year with two saves on two shots. Joshua MacKinnon saved three of seven shots for the 3-4 (2-3 SC) Owls.
